KELOWNA, B.C. – A star-studded lineup of Canadian country music artists will perform in Kelowna this week to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
The Heartstrings event, scheduled for April 26 at the Revelry Food and Music Hub, will feature performances by Dane Bateman, Chad Brownlee, Jojo Mason, and Mark Ledlin. The Nashville-style acoustic round will blend music with a deeper purpose, creating meaningful change while supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CMHA) Kelowna branch.
Mike Gawliuk, CEO of CMHA Kelowna, spoke about the event’s significance: “Heartstrings is an opportunity for us to come together as a community, to share our stories, and to support one another in the journey towards mental wellness. Through the power of music, we can amplify the message that help is always available. We invite everyone to join us in this celebration of hope and healing.”
All proceeds from the event will directly support CMHA Kelowna’s programs and services, which provide vital resources for youth and families facing mental health challenges.
Organizers encouraged attendees to join the evening’s festivities: “Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with music, community, and hope. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health.”
