Envision Counselling & Support Centre Inc. has unveiled its inaugural Par for a Purpose Mental Health & Wellness Golf Tournament, set to take place on June 8 at Mainprize Golf Course in Weyburn. This exciting event is designed to raise funds for the organization’s free, trauma-informed counselling services and wellness programming across communities such as Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, and Oxbow.
The tournament builds upon the legacy of the former Weyburn Travelodge Hotel Charity Golf Tournament, which over the past two decades raised more than $400,000 for various charitable causes in southeast Saskatchewan, including Envision. As the new organizer, Envision is honored to continue this impactful tradition, with gratitude for the guidance of the original event committee.
The funds raised will go directly toward Envision’s crucial mental health services, which annually provide nearly 3,300 free therapeutic sessions to individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Additionally, proceeds will support the organization’s workshops, educational programs, and awareness events that aim to foster safer, more resilient communities.
Envision is now inviting sponsors to be part of this meaningful event. Sponsorship opportunities offer significant community impact and brand visibility, with exposure across event signage, digital promotions, and social media platforms. Multi-level sponsorship options are available, including opportunities for corporate sponsorship, prize and auction donations, and volunteer support for event services such as shuttling.
Interested sponsors must confirm their participation by April 25 to ensure their involvement in this important fundraiser. Envision emphasizes that whether individuals are golfing, sponsoring, or donating, their support will help the organization continue to meet the growing mental health needs of the region.
This inaugural golf tournament marks an important step for Envision as it continues to support mental health initiatives and wellness programming, making a positive and lasting impact on the community.
