NAMI Central Middlesex: Mental Health Courses for Families and Students in March

NAMI Central Middlesex, a local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, offers valuable support and education for those affected by mental health conditions. Serving individuals with mental health conditions, as well as their families, friends, and caregivers, NAMI Central Middlesex is providing a range of free in-person and virtual courses this March. These courses are designed for families, parents, caregivers, students, and school counselors.

Here’s an overview of the upcoming courses:

1. Family-to-Family Course (Starting March 20 in Boxborough)

This course is for family members and friends of individuals living with mental health conditions. It provides critical education and support for navigating the challenges of supporting a loved one with a mental health condition. Topics covered include:

  • Understanding the symptoms of mental illness
  • Information about treatment options and therapies
  • Enhancing communication and problem-solving skills
